WERK-STADT-SCHLOSS

From May 5 to 16, 2014, the doors of the castle opened for artists, apprentices and pupils for the 22nd time.

In the first week of the art education project WERK-STADT-SCHLOSS, organized by the creative workshops in the Kulturwerk, 15 students from the Oskar Kämmer School enthusiastically worked on the subject of "networks" in the Bürgerwerkstatt at Wolfsburg Castle. It was discussed which social and family networks surround us, but also fishing nets and spider webs should appear more frequently during the week.

Afterwards, under the direction of the Berlin street art duo "Various & Gould" and the Wolfsburg artist Sebastian Roese, the artistic realization of the theme was discussed. Stencil stencils were cut, writing and collages designed, patterns created and many conceptual ideas developed into a thematic theme of "networks".
